Q1. Who can participate? A. For SMS/IVR:- Anyone who is an Indian citizen, residing in India and between 16 to 30 years of age as on 16th Feb 2012 can participate in “Indian Idol – Season 6”(Show”). No person can participate on behalf of another person. B. for Online :- Indian Citizens resident in India and between 16 to 30 years of age as on 16th Feb 2012, holding valid proof to this effect which shall include Passport issued by Government of India and other accepted documents and People of Indian Origin resident in India, Canada and the United Kingdom. The participation for the mini auditions shall be walk in auditions at such centre’s as the Channel announces. Q4. What will it cost me to call or send an SMS? A. SMS : Every SMS sent to the participation numbers will be charged as below.

There is no restriction on the number of SMSs that can be sent or calls that can be made for registration. However, if shortlisted for the auditions once for a city, you will not be eligible for another audition attempt at any other location. Q6. When will I know whether I have been shortlisted for auditions or not? A. Only if you are shortlisted, you will receive a confirmation call providing you with details on the venue and date for the next round of shortlisting. You will also be provided with a unique registration ID that you will need to provide at all the subsequent rounds of participation. Q7.When will the mini auditions be held and in which cities? A. Q9. What is MTS Golden Audition Week? A. MTS Golden Audition Week is meant only for the subscribers of MTS/Mblaze users who will be entitled to register for participation in the Show between 08th May, 2012 and 14th May, 2012 by way of SMS and Online Submissions. Q10. How to participate during the MTS Golden Audition Week? A. The process for registration/participation by way of SMS and Online Registration shall be otherwise same as specified below for participating during the MTS Golden Audition Week except that users using the MTS MBlaze dongles can upload their videos directly on Myindianidol.com and for other users they can visit the MTS branded retail stores for the purpose uploading their recorded Audition Video. The information about the MTS branded retail stores can be found on www.myindianidol.com or Mtsindia.in/goldenweek or by calling on 955 for MTS users or 1800 2000 100 for other non-MTS users. Via SMS – MTS subscribers can register by SMS by sending <space>age<space>gender to 52525. e.g. “IDOL 25 M” Q11. When will I get to know and how? A. If shortlisted, you will be informed 2 to 3 days before the date of audition for the city that you have chosen as your prospective audition venue via SMS & Out bound dialer call on the number used for registration as per the details available with the Organizers. Q12. If shortlisted, will I have to bear the cost of any conveyance and lodging incurred? A. Yes. If shortlisted you will be required to bear the cost of any conveyance and lodging, if incurred. MSM will not refund any costs incurred by any persons in connection with participation for Indian Idol Season 6. Q13. If shortlisted, what documents will I require to carry for the auditions (mini and main)? A. If shortlisted, you will be required to carry the following documents to the audition venue:
Q14. If shortlisted, will a minor require to be accompanied by a guardian? A. Yes. If shortlisted, a minor will require to be accompanied by his/her guardian, who will also serve as their signatory for all signing formalities. As per the definition of the Show, minor include all persons between the age of 16 years and 18 years of age as on Feb 16th 2012. Q15. I have a query. Whom can I ask? A. What if I am unable to make it to the auditions on the specified date? Can it be rescheduled? A. No. Inability to attend the audition on the specified date, time and location will terminate further participation in the Show. Q18. How will I know the result of the auditions? A. You will be informed of the decision on the day of the audition, either right after your performance or subsequently during the course of the day. Q19. Some people claim that they can help get entry to the Show. Is it possible? A. No. The only way to participate in the Show is through the defined processes of registration and audition announced by MSM. Any person claiming otherwise is defrauding/misleading you. |
