Mrs.& Mr. Sharma, Allahabadwale is a celebration of the spirit and journey of a small town, middle-class family that struggles to cope up with the day to day incidents that surround them as they migrate to city of dreams Mumbai. The head of the family, Mr. Dristhdumn Sarveshwar Sharma, is a simple man who is happy with his family and job, grounded with his own set of beliefs and customs. On the other hand, his wife, Mrs. Rashmi Sharma, is a typical housewife who has never seen the lures and charms of a big city and has blind faith in her husband. With a prospect of a better future, Mr. Sharma accepts the offer placed to him by his company to go to Mumbai. Journey of a small town couple and the challenges they face each day lead to humorous incidents in the show.
